Descending through the densely forested Canadian shield, the Goulais River valley, west of Searchmont, in northern Ontario, offers a leisurely canoeing day trip on mild current, interrupted at times by several rapids. This is a day-trip for those wishing to practice Class II whitewater. We offer this trip as a guided canoe or kayak tour, but canoe and kayak rentals and shuttles are available.
