Goulais River, Ontario – The Goulais River Community Days at Captain Tilleys Park will take place this year July 10th to 12th. The events kick off on Friday with the annual baseball tournament, food vendors will be set up at 6pm, adult and kids games also in the evening. Live band Rivers Edge takes the stage at 8pm at the arena and fireworks at dusk.
Saturday starts with a parade at 10am, breakfast at the canteen, games for all ages thru out the day, a foam bath for the kids hosted by Goulais River Fire & Rescue, kids games/contests and baseball during the day. Don’t miss the fiddle contest from 12pm to 2pm as well as the face painting and multiple baking and craft tables that will be set up. Preforming on the stage Saturday night from 9pm to 1am will be the band Thin Ice. The weekend closes out on Sunday with kite making, kids games and the finals of the baseball tournament will be played that day.
Admission for Community Days is $2 for kids 12 and under and seniors, $3 for anyone ages 13 and over.
