Goulais River, Ontario – You are invited to the annual Christmas Bonfire at Captain Tilley Community Centre on Friday, December 4th, starting at 7:00pm.
Coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider and baking from St. James Anglican Church will be provided. Live Christmas music and vendors will be set up in the Community
Centre. There will be special Christmas treats for you to take home to your dogs. You can also come in and try our lucky Christmas Tree to win a prize.
Santa Claus will be visiting sometime that evening with special gifts for kids.
The “Stuff A Firetruck” will be there to accept your donations of a food item or toy.
There will be a Christmas Card Contest for 3 age groups – ages 3 to 5, 6 to 8, and 9 to 12. All of the cards will be delivered to senior care facilities along with a special treat.
A giving Christmas Tree – select a card off the tree that will have instructions on it
of what you can do for others in the community.
A Kids Christmas Karaoke Contest with random picked prizes for contestants and Christmas Carolling by carol singers outside will also be taking place.
There will be an outside Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony as well.
There will be giveaways throughout the night from Goulais River Community organizations.
