Goulais River, Ontario – The Goulais Christmas Bonfire was held at Captain Tilley on December 2nd and turned out to be a great night.
The turnout was fabulous, with live music, games and lots of free stuff. Big thank you goes to the Ebare family for their generous sharing of all of their Christmas decorations.
Santa made an appearance and there was plenty of hot chocolate, cider and fresh baking to be had. It was great to see all of the venders with their knitting and crafts available.
Goulais Fire and Rescue operated a “Stuff a Fire Truck” station for Christmas Cheer. Santa also made a special visit and borrowed Rescue 25 for couple of hours. He was able to meet with over 140 kids, who all left with some gifts and treats.
All items were donated from local businesses and any proceeds will go to the Goulais Food bank.
